Emma: It’s been 3 days. You need to find him! He’s never been gone this long!

Detective Roberts: We’re doing our best, Ms. Williams. Now when was the last time you saw Terry?

Emma: 3 nights ago. I was home from college for the weekend.

Detective Roberts: Did he say anything to you? Anything that might indicate if he was in any sort of trouble?

Emma: Oh, he was in trouble alright. You gotta understand, my brother is a good kid. Always got good grades, never got in trouble. He had such a bright future. But I was the one that looked after Terry. My mom works 2 jobs and my dad left when I was young. So when I went off to college, I wasn’t around to keep him on the right track anymore and he fell in with the wrong crowd.

Detective Roberts: And what kind of trouble did he say he was in?

(struggles, torn)

Emma: I love my brother, Detective. I don’t want him to get in any more trouble than he’s already in.

Detective Roberts: Emma, I can only help find Terry if I know what happened.

Emma: His new friends... they’re drug dealers.

Emma: 2. His friend Mike was in trouble, owned his boss money. So Terry wanted to help him. Said he was gonna start selling drugs too, but just until he made enough for Mike to pay his boss back. I told him not to do it, but he wouldn’t listen. He said he had to help his friend. And then - She stops herself.

Detective Roberts: And then what?

Emma: He bought a gun. For protection. Jesus, do you think he could have been shot?! Detective, please, you gotta help me find him.
