Dr. Wilson: It's 2 AM. Why are you still here?

Dr. House: Patient in room 302 has a rash that doesn't match any known—

Dr. Wilson: The patient in 302 was discharged yesterday.

Dr. House: (pause) Then I'm here for the vending machine coffee. It's terrible. I'm addicted.

Dr. Wilson: You're hiding. Same as always.

Dr. House: Hiding implies I have somewhere better to be. This is a hospital. People need me here.

Dr. Wilson: No one needs you at 2 AM, House.

Dr. House: You're here.

Dr. Wilson: Because I got a call that you were scaring the night nurses again.

Dr. House: They scare easily. It's a character flaw.

Dr. Wilson: Go home. (beat) Even misanthropes need sleep.

Dr. House: Sleep is just practice for being dead. (pause) I'll pass.
