Noah: Tara - my God. They got you too?

Tara: Shhh. They’ll hear you. They’re everywhere. Tara tries to move, but can’t. She catches her breath.

Tara: And no, they didn’t get me, but I barely made it in here. I fell. Broke a few ribs. They got you?

Noah: No, but Mike... Mike’s gone. They let that sink in.

Noah: What the hell are these things? It’s like the Walking Dead out there.

(struggles to talk)

Tara: Worse. They don’t die. HomeTech Bots.

Noah: The cleaning bots? But they’re harmless. They just clean homes.

Tara: Right? And teach our kids math.

Noah: What happened to them?

Tara: HomeTech used HT Bots to safely introduce robots into our homes, but cleaning and teaching was never the end goal. Doug Minor knew AI would take over eventually. He thought if he was it’s creator that he could control it when it happened.

Noah: He implanted AI in the HT Bots, knowingly?

Tara: Model 2. As soon as he turned on the 2nd generation... this happened. There’s a huge BANG outside. They’re quiet for a second. They hear the robots move away.

Tara: And it’s not gonna stop. They can’t die. They’re all controlled by the real AI brain stored on the master server farm at HomeTech.

Noah: Then we gotta get there.

(laughs)

Tara: And how do you expect to do that? Looks around, gathers the confidence.

Noah: Leave that to me. If we get there, can you hack the system?

(smiles)

Tara: I helped create it. Another BANG outside.

(Tara nods)

Noah: We don’t have much time. Can you walk? We can do this, Tara. You ready? Tara nods. Noah lifts her and they walk off out of frame.
