Alice: Josie! Josie, wake up! Josie wakes up and panics too.
Josie: Alice, thank god you’re okay. Josie reaches out to hug Alice, but her hands are also restrained.
Alice: Um, no, not okay! Where the heck are we? What happened?! Josie reacts to a pain on her head as she remembers.
Josie: The last thing I remember is being blindfolded and then clubbed over the back of the head.
(remembering)
Alice: Wait... We were at Dylan’s. Do you think he did this?!
Josie: Oh Alice please. I know you don’t like him because he -
Alice: Because he’s a terrible person.
Josie: Maybe so. But he would never do something like this.
Alice: Never say never. Josie looks at Alice sadly and sighs.

Josie: You’re right. Maybe Dylan wasn’t the best person to have around. When your mom passed...
Josie: 2. I promised her I’d take care of you. I know I haven’t done the best job. I’m sorry.
Alice: It’s okay. I get it. Probably hard to be stuck you with your best friend’s 14 year old brat for life.
(laughs)
Josie: We’ve never more stuck than this.
(laughs, then sincerely)
Alice: You’re not doing that bad.
(directly to Alice)
Josie: If you don’t count today, maybe. If this was Dylan, I’ll kill him myself.
