Remi: How’s the food?

Omar: Yeah, so, what do you expect to happen here exactly?

Remi: Well, you know, I thought we just had some... things... to talk about.

Omar: Things like... the you sleeping with my wife thing? Yeah, that? Sure, go ahead, I’m all ears.

Remi: When you put it that way it sounds so terrible. Omar gives Remi a look.

Remi: Right, it is bad. But, like I said man, I had no idea she was married-

Omar: You met her in the waiting room of a couples therapy office.

Remi: Right, that’s true. But she was alone. I figured she was no longer a couple, with... the other part of the -

Omar: With me.

Remi: Right, with you. I figured she was no longer with you.

Omar: Even though I was there, just a week before, with her.

Remi: Right, but this time, you know, you weren’t there, so... I didn’t know.

Omar: You didn’t ask.

(off of Omar’s look)

Remi: I didn’t know to ask. And she was looking so - Lonely -

Omar: We were on a break.

Remi: Exactly. Omar gives Remi a look.

Remi: I’m not saying it was right, I’m just saying, a “break” means different things to different people. Sometimes it means a “break up,” sometimes it means a -

Omar: It means a break.

Remi: Right, a break. Silence. Remi clears his throat.

Remi: Anyway, listen, man. I came here to say... I’m sorry. Really.

Omar: Mmhmm.

Remi: I mean, I can’t say I regret it, but I am very sorry that -

Omar: You said you don’t regret it?

Remi: Hm?

Omar: You said you apologize, but you don’t regret it?

Remi: I live life with no regrets, my friend.

Omar: What if I reached over this table and slug you in the face, would you regret it then?

Remi: I would really great appreciate it if you did not do that.

Omar: What if I made your face eat this table... over and over again, for like 10 minutes. Would you regret it then?
