Full Script

Ellie: You lied to me. About the hospital. About everything.

Joel: I did what I had to do.

Ellie: You took my choice away! It was my life, my sacrifice!

Joel: You're a kid. You don't get to die for the world.

Ellie: I'm not a kid anymore! You made sure of that!

Joel: I made sure you survived. That's all that matters.

Ellie: To you! It matters to you! What about what matters to me?

Joel: You can hate me. You probably should. But you're alive to hate me.

Ellie: And everyone else is dead because of it.

Joel: I can live with that. I can't live without you.
