Full Script

Mom Patricia: Before we start eating, Lisa has something to tell everyone.

Daughter Lisa: Actually, maybe we should eat first. This is... it's kind of big news.

Dad Robert: Just spit it out, sweetheart. How big could it be?

Grandma Rose: Oh Lord, she's pregnant. I knew it! I had the same look when I was carrying your father.

Son Michael: Grandma! Let her actually tell us before you start planning baby showers.

Daughter Lisa: I'm not pregnant, Grandma. I'm... I'm getting divorced.

Dad Robert: What? But you just got married two years ago!

Mom Patricia: Honey, are you sure? Maybe you two just need counseling.

Grandma Rose: In my day, we didn't get divorced. We just stopped talking to each other.

Son Michael: Grandma, that's not exactly healthy relationship advice.

Daughter Lisa: It's already decided. The papers are filed. I just... I needed you all to know.

Dad Robert: Well, you're our daughter. We'll support whatever decision you make.
