The Rating - Black Mirror Style

Social media rating system destroying relationships

Lacie Pound, Ryan8 lines

Full Script

Lacie Pound: My rating dropped to 3.2. Three point two! Do you know what that means?

Ryan: It means you're still the same person you were yesterday.

Lacie Pound: No! It means I can't get the apartment. Can't get the job. Can't get the life I want!

Ryan: Maybe the life you want isn't worth having if it depends on strangers' opinions.

Lacie Pound: Easy for you to say. You're a 4.6.

Ryan: I'm a person. Just like you. The number doesn't change that.

Lacie Pound: The number changes everything.

Ryan: Only if you let it.
